...it's kind of like what you can do on the internet, but in a building
I was biking around Beverly Hills yesterday when I came across this oddly shaped building.
it turns out this to be
The Paley Center for Media;
which is a public media archive that holds close to 150,000 television & radio programs that span the course of the last century.
But wait.
isn't any & everything I care about watching online anyways?
well, they answer that in the brochure...
"The Paley Center's collection is both deeper and richer than what you will find on the internet"
bam, they answered that one.
So, you can visit the library & theater for free. They take donations if you have the heart to give.
They also host plenty of events with pretty interesting names.
This is a good way to get off your couch & go watch television on someone else's chair.
